Geyser Issues

If your geyser is faulty or broken, please contact estate management for assistance.

Important Notes:

  • Geysers can be replaced by the Body Corporate, maintenance of the Geyser is the owners responsibility.
  • All geysers are insured and can be replaced by the accredited service provider.

The insurance excess for a replacement geyser will be added to the flat’s levies.


Shower Door

The shower door slowly starts tilting over time, this is because the top brace slowly moves. This causes problems with the door opening and closing causing the door to catch.
1.
There are 2 covers on the brace at the top part of the shower door hinge. Remove them. 
2. Using a screw driver, loosen
Do not use electrical screw driver as you will warp the metal
Do not fully unscrew only loosen

3. Take the screw driver and hammer and gently tap the top hinge support to the correct place


Light Bulb Replacement

The kitchen light bulbs are difficult to find and replace. They can be purchased at either Brights or Exact Hardware.

The Light bulbs can be removed by sliding off the 2 covers on each side towards the center of the light bulb. 
Then rotate the bulb till the connectors line up with the holes.

Estate Wide Power Outage

Every so often we experience a state wide power outage. 
The reason for this ranges from maintenance on from Eskom to cable theft. 

What can we do about it? 
Spam Eskom with tickets to prioritize the issue. 

How to log a ticket? 
Contact Alfre(Eskoms Support Bot), this can be done via Watsapp.  
Go through the relative prompts and answer the questions.
